I. Monday —Exodus 9 / Plagues 5-7
1. What plagues are in chapter 9?
2. What might you conclude about the plagues from 8:22, 9:4, 9:26?
3. In 8:8, 8:28, 9:28, what do we learn about Pharaoh’s promises?
4. What was unique about the heavy hail?

II. Tuesday —Exodus 10 / Plagues 8-9
1. What new element is revealed about the purpose of God in the plagues in verse 2?
2. Throughout this narrative what is God’s ultimate desire for His people according to verse 3?
3. What was the consequence of Pharaoh’s attitude toward Moses/God (see v. 7) and what lesson must we see
in this today?
4. What two plagues are in chapter 10 and what do we learn in verse 23?
5. What was wrong with Pharaoh’s proposal to let the Hebrews go worship?
6. What is meant by Moses’ statement “not a hoof shall be left behind?”

III. Wednesday —Exodus 11 / The Final Plague
1. What did God tell Moses would happen after the last plague?
2. What were the two reasons why the Egyptians were willing to give the Hebrews silver and gold?

IV. Thursday – Exodus 12 / The Passover
1. What month is this and why might God have designated this the first month of the year at this point?

5. Why was the blood to be spread on the header and doorposts but not the base?

V. Sunday — Exodus 13 / Plagues 8-9
1. What is Passover observance to be a “sign” to them for and does the church have the same sign?
2. What was the process and reason for the redeeming of the firstborn males?
3. What was significant that the route God led them on was into the wilderness and not by the Philistines?
4. What promise did Moses keep according to verse 19?
5. How did the Hebrews know where to go and when did they travel?
